Responsible for applying pesticides in support of landscape maintenance and tree care operations.

  • Organizes, schedules and performs specific on-site job tasks efficiently.
  • Accurately identify the target pest, calibrate equipment and apply pesticides according to recommended label rates.
  • Complete reports, maintain equipment and chemical storage area.
  • Supervise and train personnel in safe pesticide application. The Pest Control Operator may be asked to conduct annual pesticide training as required by the State.

  • Possess and utilize good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees and managers.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must possess a valid California drivers' license with a driving record acceptable to the Company's insurance carrier.
  • Must currently be a licensed Qualified Applicator and attend continuing education programs to keep license current.
  • Must have an agricultural B.S. degree or minimum of 1 year practical experience as a licensed Qualified Applicator.


Up to $22 hourly, DOE
