    The Landscape Construction Manager is responsible for managing the Landscape Improvement operations of a designated district and creates programs and daily operational systems to implement long-term goals established by the Chief Operating Officer, Landscape Construction Business Unit Leader and the Landscape Construction Regional Project Director.


    • Lead field operations. Supervise and train Foremen and Laborers. Interview and hire new employees. Conduct performance reviews. Ensure crews work 100%, safely, and per instructions. Correct unsatisfactory work/behavior and praise beneficial behavior/accomplishments.
    • Coordinate with Landscape Maintenance Managers and Regional Project Directors on the promotion and solicitation of new work. Sales effort will include soliciting new and potential customers, assisting in sales presentation, preparing estimates, collecting production data, negotiating and renewing contracts.
    • Consistently meet or exceed direct cost budgets through conscientious planning, scheduling and supervision.
    • Set the example through teamwork and a helpful, courteous approach to customers as well as meeting C&D expectations of quality and efficiency at work sites.
    • Follow through with paperwork, reports, and job completions. Meet deadlines without prompting.

    • Possess and utilize good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees and manager.
    • Must be able to communicate in English verbally and in writing with above average clarity.
    • Must possess a valid California driver's license with a driving record acceptable to the Company's insurance carrier.
