Cagwin & Dorward is a full service landscape provider specializing in landscape maintenance, landscape construction, water management, and tree care for commercial, municipal and residential customers. From 15 local service centers, we serve the greater San Francisco Bay Area from Santa Rosa in the north, to Monterey in the south and east to Sacramento.

The Foreman is responsible for the production of assigned landscape installation or incidental 

work as directed by the Landscape Construction Management.

  • Lead crews. Train and manage crews and subcontractors. Directly supervise crewmembers on assignments received from Construction Management.
  • Tools, equipment and materials. Ensure proper care, use, storage, maintenance and handling of tools, equipment and materials.
  • Plan and problem solve. Plan ahead for labor and equipment deployment. Order materials. Recognize and solve problems; implement solutions.
  • Enforce compliance with safety, other policies and procedures, as well as project budgets and plans.

  • Ability to effectively understand and communicate with customers, manager and crewmembers.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must possess a valid California driver's license with a driving record acceptable to the Company's insurance carrier.
